Join our commercial strategy team as an Associate Manager Commercial Strategy-Channels based in Battle Creek, Michigan!  This job requires travel (up to 25%).

The primary focus of our Commercial Strategy Team is to lead the development and execution of our commercial business plan for our Cereal brands in the U.S. through cross-functional collaboration, direct connectivity with Sales, and seamless integration of the voice of the customer into our work processes.  

 

Communication and collaboration to progress projects and plans forward are critical to success in this role.  The ability to solve problems and put solutions in place will necessary.  Developing and presenting sales facing content will be necessary to ensure our strategy is executed with excellence.  You will own target segments of the business plan to ensure key metrics are delivered.

  • Reports to: Sr. Manager, Commercial Strategy
  • Dotted line to Director, Commercial Strategy

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

 

  • Create customer focused selling content based on business and customer plans 
  • Customer Presentations, Sales Analytics, and Storytelling 
  • Driving Solutions to opportunities or situations to support the business 
  • Manage and execute projects critical to our Channels business and the Customer Business Plan 
  • Be the voice of the customer internally  

 

Required: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation to deliver results 
  • 2+ years of CPG experience 
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Power Point & Excel 
  • Excel – able to use pivot tables and v-lookups among other formulas 
  • PowerPoint – ability to create material into compelling customer facing content 
  • Proficient in gathering, compiling, and analyzing data which results in delivering actionable insights & storytelling 
  • Strong organization, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints  
  • A high aptitude for collaboration with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions, each with unique goals

  • Proven ability to think strategically, creatively, and executional in developing commercial strategies, tactics and initiatives that may vary across different channels 
  • Ability to create and present compelling narratives through fact-based content, visualizations & imagery to external customers.

 

Compensation Insights:

 

Salary Range: $88,640.00 -$132,960.00

 

Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level.  Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
