Title:  Mechanical Packaging Equipment Engineer

As a Packaging Engineer you will lead the packaging equipment scope development and specification of multiple small to medium sized projects. In addition, you will provide technical support and equipment technology expertise for packaging engineering issues to plants and projects.  Your technical influence and impact will be company-wide!

 

This is a remote US based role.

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Drive technical solutions for Growth/Innovation and Supply Chain, through delivery of cost-effective, high-quality scope and effective team collaboration.
  • Deliver project accountabilities through effective risk management, drive scope alignment, leverage technical expertise (SMEs, Platform Leads) and standard designs and specifications.
  • Have influence on technical aspects of projects - Provide information on technical issues with plants and project teams. Influence may be company- wide.
  • Drive efficiencies, reliability and lower cost by advancing technologies and standard/specs for areas of expertise.
  • Mentor and coach other engineers to advance the overall technical capability of the group.
  • Learn and apply people safety and food safety standards and principles.
  • Embrace, model, and encourage use of our WK Values and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Principles, to make WK Kellogg Engineering a better place to work, grow, and contribute to Supply Chain and company goals.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field and 4+ years related work experience.
  • Substantial packaging equipment experience
  • Availability to travel up to 50%

Compensation Insights: 

Salary Range: $99,780 - $124,730

Annual Bonus Percentage Target: 15%
