Working Relationships:
- Reports to Senior Director, Quality Business Partner.
- No direct reports.
- Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Multi-Plant QFS Subject Matter Expert (SME) – You will serve as the SME for assigned facilities to coach individuals on executing the QFS Kellogg Integrated Work Systems (KIWS) programs. Build technical, leadership, and critical thinking capabilities to become a strong well-rounded team. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide training needs based on health check assessments.
- Capability Building – We grow together every day. Be a partner within plant operations, quality, food safety, sanitation, and other programs. By doing this, you will build capability within the plant teams through the development of quality processes, tools, training, communication, and health checks. Lead by coaching on quality or food safety incidents; enabling appropriate risk assessment and corrective preventative action plans.
- Programs, Policies, and Projects – You will be a system/program owner for KIWS QFS and actively participate and lead in Community of Practices (COPs) to provide learning and continual executional improvements utilizing the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) cycle. Provide oversight to compliance against company and regulatory standards and requirements.
- Technical Guidance – You will apply Kellogg global policies and compliance to plant-driven Kellogg KWS initiatives. You will partner with the plants to develop their Quality Center of Excellence (COE).
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline or related field and/or strong experience applying broad knowledge of Quality & Food Safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.
- Mix of experience in quality operations, sanitation, food safety, materials management, innovation quality, regulatory, leadership, and business acumen.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills including critical thinking, root cause analysis, risk assessment and corrective/preventive action.
- Communication skills and technical capability that will promote good relations with manufacturing operators, management and other technical and scientific disciplines in the effective execution of projects to accomplish corporate objectives.
- Plant experience within QFS or Sanitation.
- PCQI and/or HACCP Certification.
Compensation Insights:
Salary Range: $111,040.00 -$145,740.00
