The Senior Manager of Insights & Strategy plays a pivotal role in deciphering consumer needs and trends to sculpt the identity of our brands. Collaborating closely with team members, the Senior Manager formulates robust strategies that align seamlessly with brand equity and values. Moreover, they delve into higher-level insights and strategies encompassing the portfolio, target audience, and specific categories. This role will 'own' scoping, designing, and gaining senior leader alignment on the projects and strategies it leads. This is a Hybrid position that requires the incumbent to live within 60 miles of the Battle Creek, Michigan Headquarter Office and be on-site 3 days a week. We may have flexibility to consider talent outside of that radius.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Formulate a comprehensive learning agenda for both brand-specific and broader segment-level objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Independently design and execute research workstreams with minimal oversight, delivering valuable insights.
- Offer actionable recommendations to guide brand and portfolio strategies, influencing brand positioning, communications, and innovation workstreams.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of brand and segment/category performance, identifying key drivers and pinpointing white space opportunities.
- Seamlessly connect data from various sources to craft compelling narratives, leveraging trends and human understanding to anticipate future developments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Market Research, Advertising, Marketing, Experimental Psychology, or related field.
- Proven expertise in market research with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders, including marketing and broader organization leadership teams.
- Adept at identifying and prioritizing critical business issues, translating them into clear objectives, and aligning research tools with specific business needs.
- Extensive experience in executing, analyzing, and formulating recommendations using various key methodologies, such as concept development and testing, product testing, advertising development and testing, brand health assessment, as well as qualitative and syndicated business analysis.
Compensation Insights:
Salary Range: $142,000.00 -$186,375.00
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
