Advance your career as a Customer Development Manager. In this Hybrid opportunity, the successful candidate will work from the WK Kellogg Co Puerto Rico office on a weekly basis. This role requires local travel within Puerto Rico as well as travel within the region of up to 15% of the time.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop, plan, and execute the overall distributor strategy across assigned markets (Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic)
- Align commercial plans with innovation and new product development to support market growth
Distributor Management & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners, ensuring alignment on goals, and execution plans
- Lead the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process, including monthly scorecards, quarterly reviews, and top-to-top meetings
- Manage critical conversations with key customers to ensure alignment with commercial guidelines with distributors key account team
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Responsible for key financial objectives including Gross Sales, Net Sales, and Trade Spend
- Maximize trade spending efficiency to deliver volume and profit expectations
Category Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Category Management to ensure sufficiency of plans and lead category growth as Category Captains (PR)
- Co-lead Nielsen IQ data meeting to drive insight into business actions and tactics
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Lead collaborative forecasting with logistics teams from both WK Kellogg Co and distributor organizations
- Provide accurate and timely market forecasts and performance tracking.
Capability Building & Market Expansion
- Provide training to distributor staff to enhance capabilities and market coverage
- Explore new business opportunities geographically and across product lines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Experience managing trade dollars within assigned budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Account Management Experience, calling on buyers and / or category managers at the headquarters level, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
- Ability to develop, present, and negotiate customer plans that drive a collaborative partnership and growth for both WK Kellogg Co and the customer
- Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results, pricing strategy, and analyze and interpret syndicated data (i.e., Nielsen)
- Motor vehicle history with two or less moving violations within the last 36 months
- Company Car provided along with insurance and a gas card
