Join WKKC in Mexicali as a WK Integrated Working System Lead and help drive a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

 

In this on-site role, you’ll lead the implementation of the WK Integrated Working System (WKIWS), applying Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — including EHSS, Maintenance, Quality, and People — to embed operational excellence into daily practices and deliver measurable impact.

 

 

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead and monitor key performance indicators for each Center of Excellence (COE), including health checks, assessments, and skill matrices.
  • Facilitate collaboration across local and regional WKIWS teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Analyze operational data to identify productivity losses and improvement opportunities across manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, and quality.
  • Track and communicate results from WKIWS initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Benchmark best practices with other plants and lead innovation efforts through KSUM.
  • Ensure effective deployment of Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Kaizen, and VSM.
  • Execute projects that improve OEE, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
  • Deliver training sessions to strengthen the continuous improvement culture.
  • Promote forums to showcase successful initiatives and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Oversee the Operational Excellence Master Plan and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You bring 3–5 years of experience in operational excellence or Lean roles within manufacturing environments.
  • You’re fluent in English and confident working across diverse teams and functions.
  • You have hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, TPM, A3, VSM).
  • You’re analytical, organized, and passionate about driving impactful change on the shop floor.
