Brand Manager, Mini-Wheats & Taste-Led Brands

In this role you will be responsible for helping build our biggest Ready To Eat Cereal (RTEC) portfolio in Canada, aid in the development of long-term strategies, brand plans and bring the plan to life for the consumer and shopper with executional excellence.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategic Brand-Building Project Leadership: You will have an opportunity to lead strategic projects that solve high-impact business problems. You will drive development and lead the execution of all commercial efforts to drive consumer or shopper demand (projects that span, but not limited to, innovation, promotions and communications). You will have the opportunity to lead projects on iconic world-class brands, ensuring effective and efficient delivery, on time and within budget commitments.
Insight-Driven Brand-Building Programs & Projects: You will have an opportunity to use advanced analytics and diverse data sets to craft unique solutions that shape brand strategy and consumer demand to ensure our brand programs are most relevant and impactful.
Innovation Management: You will be spearheading product development and commercialization for iconic top-tier brands, collaborating with highly capable teams while retaining control over the structure, process, and resource allocation of your project.
Strategic Communication Development: You will lead strategic high impact communication projects by transforming brand challenges and opportunities into compelling briefs for agencies, guiding the development and evaluation of consumer-facing assets across every major consumer and shopper touch point.
Cross-functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with specialized experts across at WK Kellogg Co: Sales, Finance, Innovation, Shopper, Wellbeing, Regulatory and E-comm.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS
- Full-time, onsite, position in our Mississauga, Canada office
- Business Travel Requirement expected at 5-10%
- Reports directly to Associate Marketing Director
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- University undergraduate degree in business or marketing
- 3-5 years of Brand Marketing experience, related experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company
- Strong leadership skills with a proven project management ability with a bias for action and attention to details
- Experience in strategy development, leading innovation development and creative campaign development
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to analyze data and synthesize key performance drivers with a bias for action to address issues, strong AC Nielsen experience
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with an ability to lead projects, influence and effectively collaborate both internally and externally from peers to leadership, both by informal communications and formal presentations
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong working knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA with a focus in marketing
- Proven P&L analysis/understanding
- Experience managing cross functional teams without direct line reporting
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, result-oriented environment
