As an eCommerce & Shopper Marketing Manager you will lead e-Commerce and Retailer Media for the organization, shaping vision, strategy, and overseeing program execution to drive shopper conversion. Key responsibilities include leadership of Ecomm search and account-specific digital marketing investment strategy and activation, identifying new mid-/lower-funnel media opportunities, and bringing key trends and implications to life within the organization to influence marketing growth plans.

As part of driving full funnel activation, the role includes coordination, development and implementation of shopper marketing tactics in-store and ensuring appropriate scheduling of projects, sampling, couponing, creative development and budget tracking. You will work with Marketing and Sales partners, 3 days a week at Mississauga head office.

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Account-specific Digital Marketing Investment & Activation: Determine optimal level of investment for Retailer Media; identify unique theming and focus areas by customer (e.g. points program alignment, seasonal opportunities); set calendar of support; lead creative development, execution, and post-analyses
  • Shopper Marketing & Store Activations: Develop mid-/lower-funnel campaigns to drive conversion. Develop partnership programs with other CPG companies. Develop creative assets to be leveraged with Customers and Sales team (flyer, POS, Merchandising, Presentations) including printing and legal approvals. Daily Project Management, Budget Tracking.
  • eComm Search: Lead search strategy and investments with key retailers; identify brand/product focus areas; coordinate with agencies for execution, optimization, and socialization of post-analyses
  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Shape the future by developing and deploying regular cadence of omni-shopper trend overviews and test & learn with Retailer Media partners to influence retail digital investment and presence in experience plans
  • Help build a Winning Commercial-minded Culture by pro-actively contributing to better ways of working; optimising processes with key vendors

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher – preferably business school graduate, or equivalent, Marketing major
  • Demonstrated experience in eCommerce & Retailer Activations, ideally within CPG industry
  • Experience in Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, and/or Sales considered assets
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful, actionable insights and implications
  • Capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audience effectively
  • Proven project management skills with a strong bias for action and high proficiency for multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated capability in budget management
  • Strong collaboration, communication and influence skills, working with internal and external stakeholders (cross-functional, agencies, retail customers) 
  • Bilingualism an asset (English, French)

 

Salary Range: $105,920 - $132,400

Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level.  Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
