Title:  Inventory Controller

Join us as an Inventory Controller in our Omaha, NE facility, where you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the Plant’s inventory.  This role will be fast paced, agile, and flexible to business needs as you play a key role auditing physical inventory, maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies!

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Daily, validate the accuracy, timeliness, and coherence of information provided by the plant's manufacturing supervisor, ensuring alignment with production volume, planned volume, and schedule. Collaborate with manufacturing and inventory supervisors to address any discrepancies.
  • Record validated information in the manufacturing system, cross-checking with the supervisor's log to ensure proper entry into the correct production order and shift.
  • Send variances between SAP and DLX to Finance Team.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing production planner to ensure production orders align with the schedule and match those used by the warehouse team.
  • Analyze the manufacture variations report, identify main discrepancies, and provide explanations. Rectify errors as needed.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing supervisor to understand daily shift occurrences, capture scrap data for daily quality reporting, and identify opportunities for savings. Communicate findings to the supervisor and conduct quarterly analyses for process improvement.
  • Prepare monthly IDR (Inventory Difference Report) for non-valuated materials and conversion differences at month-end. 

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP or a similar ERP system, and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtimed, which may include weekends
  • Effective communication skills
  • Maintain data integrity and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations
