Advance your career as a Finance Specialist Statutory in our Queretaro office. The Finance Specialist Statutory will ensure that the financial and administrative process within IES are performed according to Corporate Policies, SLA and Statutory Requirements, is responsible of the ownership of a substantial processes, provide guidelines in accounting and corporate policies, closely work with Finance, manufacturing teams and Tax team to deliver expected results.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Audit Management: Lead internal and external audits, collaborating closely with statutory auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. Resolve discrepancies between Statutory and US GAAP books efficiently.
  • Financial Reporting: Execute year-end statutory closing activities and prepare comprehensive financial statements with meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate all necessary documentation for the external audit process to facilitate a smooth audit.
  • Compliance Support: Assist in financial statement approval and filing processes, supporting both internal and external audits as well as tax inspections. Provide clear guidance on accounting practices and corporate policies to ensure regulatory compliance and promote financial literacy within the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the enhancement and standardization of service delivery across North American operations by emphasizing process simplification and automation within a continuous improvement framework. Manage end-to-end processes such as month-end close with a focus on enhancing reconciliation quality and tracking while proactively addressing reporting and tax issues.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis for US GAAP and Local GAAP reporting purposes, identifying and communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork, providing feedback and facilitating the dissemination of best practices. Coordinate area metrics efficiently to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience; preference for experience in accounting audit firms.

• Proficiency in PC skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SAP and other financial planning systems is essential.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
