Join our Legal team as The Manager of Investigations. This is a Hybrid role that requires the incumbent to live within sixty miles of the Battle Creek, Michigan Headquarter Office.
The Manager of Investigations is responsible for conducting thorough investigations into compliance-related issues within the organization. This role ensures that all activities and operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards. This job requires occasional travel for investigations and training.
Working Relationships:
- Reports to Vice President, Senior Corporate Counsel, Labor, Employment, Ethics & Compliance.
- No direct reports.
- Peer Relationships: Human Resources (Managers and Business Partners); Environmental, Health & Safety.
Taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Lead Investigations: Oversee and conduct comprehensive investigations into compliance and misconduct violations, including fraud, corruption, other unethical practices and workplace conduct.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to prevent future violations.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed investigation reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Human Resources and other departments to ensure coordinated and effective investigation processes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Training: Identify and assist with deployment of training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics to promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred Education and experience:
Relevant Certification(s) such as Certified Fraud Examiner and/or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.

Compensation Insights:
Salary Range: $111,040.00 -$145,740.00
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
