Join us at WK Kellogg Co as a Temporary Student Support – Customer Transportation/Logistics!  Your motivation and attention to detail are key to gaining valuable experience in a corporate environment.

 

This position is a part-time Temporary Student Support (TSS) assignment that starts mid-January 2025 and runs through June 2026 with the potential for an extension. This position is hybrid and will require some work onsite in Battle Creek, MI. Overall, this role averages 12-24 hours per week. Hours do not have to be consecutive; they can be spread throughout the week.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Learn a breakdown of core supply chain functions, along with major roles and responsibilities for each
  • Manage and organize large datasets
  • Gain an understanding of the food and beverage industry, including both food service and retail channels
  • Cross Functional root cause analysis to identify reason code to improve On Time Performance
  • Continuous Improvement modeling
  • Volume Analysis (Procured vs Projections)
  • New carrier onboarding assistance and SOP development
  • Accessorial Analysis

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree – REQUIRED; Majoring in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and independent thinker
  • Results focused with a bias towards decisive action
  • Effectively communicates complex results and recommendations in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem solving, organization and planning skills
  • High proficiency in tools used for data analysis such as Excel REQUIRED
