Join WK Kellogg Co in Mexicali as a Continuous Improvement Leader. Lead the development and execution of a robust Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy to achieve and sustain a savings pipeline equivalent to 4.5% of FE + Scrap (120% in Year 1, 60% in Year 2, 30% in Year 3). Drive KPI improvements using CI tools, enhance OEE, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all organizational levels. Ensure data accuracy to support effective decision-making and provide the structure and tools needed to enable sustainable improvements.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead the CI Strategy: Develop and execute a robust Continuous Improvement roadmap to achieve annual savings targets and elevate operational performance.
- Drive KPI Improvements: Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools to improve key metrics like OEE, scrap, yield, and throughput.
- Foster a CI Culture: Promote a mindset of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization through coaching, training, and hands-on leadership.
- Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Ensure accurate, timely data is available to support effective decision-making and performance tracking.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning to align on goals and deliver cross-functional improvements.
- Support Innovation & Growth: Evaluate the productivity impact of new products and support capital investment projects with economic and capacity analysis.
- Be a CI Champion: Act as the owner of the CI Center of Excellence (COE), sharing best practices across the region and supporting capability development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English communication skills — both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and other CI methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and delivering measurable results.
