Join WK Kellogg Co in Mexicali as a Financial Analyst. Drive financial insights that power smarter decisions and improved profitability. In this role, you’ll analyze production costs, SKU profitability, and budget variations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You’ll partner across teams to support innovation, capital investments, and continuous improvement initiatives, enabling sustainable growth and cost optimization.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Lead Financial Analysis: Perform complex economic and financial research to support strategic decisions and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Manage Cost Control: Review and analyze production costs and cost of goods sold, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets. Identify and explain cost variations and recommend corrective actions.
- Support Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual budgets, revisions, and outlooks. Provide visibility on risks and opportunities to help close gaps.
- Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct SKU profitability analysis, loss analysis, and factory expense reviews to guide operational improvements.
- Drive Innovation: Partner with innovation, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to define costs for new products and track committed savings.
- Coordinate Period-End Close: Work with IES to ensure timely and accurate financial closing, reporting, and outlook development.
- Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Prepare and integrate plant ICPs, manage invoicing processes, and coordinate intercompany credits and debits.
- Foster Financial Capability: Provide training and support to plant leadership and share best practices across financial teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and general ledger.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
- Advanced communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to influence decisions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
