Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor at WK Kellogg Mexicali!

 

Are you passionate about industrial maintenance and optimizing equipment in a manufacturing environment? We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of technicians, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of machinery and facilities. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring that all work is carried out to safety and quality standards. Temporary position for a one-year term.

 

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Supervise and execute the weekly maintenance plan, ensuring personal and team safety.
  • Reduce downtime and ensure production plans are met through effective preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to create and execute preventive maintenance plans.
  • Develop and manage critical parts files, layouts, maintenance programs, and inspection lists.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts in SAP, ensuring necessary stock levels.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resources, tools, and spare parts.
  • Provide operational support for equipment testing, cleaning, and line start-ups.
  • Monitor and follow up on work orders generated in previous shifts.
  • Complete daily checklists and generate necessary alerts for effective follow-up.

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in industrial maintenance or similar roles.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Intermediate level in industrial mechanics, electricity, and electronics.
  • TPM, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • Intermediate level in welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Diagnosis and programming of drives, and failure signal tracing.
  • Basic SAP management, computer skills, and PLC knowledge (desirable).
  • Expertise in interpreting electrical diagrams and basic knowledge of metrology and machining.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule and intermediate/conversational English.
